With the snow falling, and the Holidays just around the corner you can’t help but feel a little excited!
Lots of things are happening as we move through the season. Wednesday night runs are still happening in Polson Park. Please note we will take a break on the 26th of December. Of course you can still run, but with the holiday many of you will no doubt run a little earlier in the day or maybe not run at all and hit the slopes or trails instead!
This Thursday the 20th of December is the start of the fun thursday night skis at Sovereign Lake. Thursdays are $5.00 ski nights up at SLNC – check out their website www.sovereignlake.com A group of us will just meet in the lodge at 6:30pm for a fun ski on the lit night course with some play and hard efforts – a good mix of fun and work!
This Sunday the 23rd of December from 8-11am, marks the 5th 100×100′s swim with the Vernon Masters. Use pennies, quarters, loonies to count your laps, do it solo or as a team, bring blankets and clothes, food and these items will be donated to the Mission and the Salvation Army, so everyone can be warm and fed this season.
So…..you can see lots happening, Have a GREAT week and get out there and PLAY!
