Just to follow-up to last weeks announcement that tomorrow nights Run at the track will not be a coached workout. I am super excited to be taking part in the Rotary Athletic Awards to recognize our local high school athletes.
For those of you who raced Oliver on the weekend -this would be a great evening to do a super easy 20-30min warm-up assessment run – or take the day off!
Workout given the heat will be the following….
after a good 20min warm up and a few dynamic stretches and drills please go into the following…..
200strong/200easy x4 – take water after the 200 easy when necesssary otherwise this is non stop — see and feel the difference between the on and the off.
Then 4×400 smooth with at least 1min rest
If you have just joined us that would be perfect!
Otherwise add 2×200 on/off and one final 400
and then at least 4loops for an easy “cooldown”
It looks like it will be a warm night so please bring some water and may I suggest some electrolytes too!
I will be at Paradigm for Wednesdays bike – which still looks like it will be toasty warm so 2 water bottles will be advised – I will have water at the Rise on wednesday as well as eload.
